Can I eat the dried sea cucumber product?

No, the dried sea cucumber must be rehydrated and cooked prior to consumption

第1天:用清水冲洗干海参,然后放入锅中,确保海参完全浸没在水中,确认锅内无油渍及其他杂质。中火煮沸30分钟,然后让其冷却,并放置在阴凉干燥处过夜。

第2天:倒掉水分,加入新鲜清水,中火煮沸30分钟,冷却后放置在阴凉干燥处过夜。

第3天:沿着海参的纵向将其切开。在切口处展开,彻底清理掉沙子和内脏。可以用勺子从内部刮出,或者用小刀清理。清除内脏和沙子后,冲洗海参内部,然后将其放回锅中。加入新鲜清水直至海参被完全浸没,再次放置在阴凉干燥处过夜。

第4天:倒掉水分,加入新鲜清水,中火煮沸30分钟,冷却后放置在阴凉干燥处过夜。

第5天:Check the sea cucumber for preferred firmness.If still firm, drain water and replenish the pot with fresh water. Bring to boil and simmer on low heat for 30 45 mins until preferred firmness has been achieved.Let it cool and leave overnight in a cool and dry area.The sea cucumber should be ready in the morning of Day 5 depending on firmness preference.Day 5 is optional if preferred firmness is achieved.

Golden Road Australias sea cucumbers are hand harvested by First Nations divers from the pristine waters of Shark Bay, Western Australia. Once they have been harvested from the ocean seabed, the sea cucumbers are transported to our factory, where they go through a twice cooked & dehydration process. This takes roughly five days (however is dependant on
the sun).

Yes, the sea cucumber is gutted prior to being dried.
